A few weeks ago I finally got to meet my September 19th wedding clients, Cat + Zach! They booked back in February and we had planned to meet/tour their venue in April... then the pandemic hit. I think it actually worked out better that we toured their venue in June. In April we would have still had SNOW and mud, but in June it was green and in bloom. Snow Pond is a new wedding venue for me. I cannot believe I have never even been there before, it is Ah-Mazing! For weddings, a weekend rental with rustic cabins for all of the guests, ceremony on the lake, cocktails on the patio, reception in the lodge and a firepit for the after party. As we walked the grounds we realized the photo opportunities are endless. Never a problem to have too many gorgeous spots. What a hidden gem in Central Maine! As we chatted wedding details, Cat mentioned they had never had professional pictures taken in their 10 years of dating. What?! Luckily they were on vacation in the area at Cat's family camp in Smithfield for the next week. What a perfect spot for an engagement session. A sunny field nearby and sunset on the lake. The photo sesh would have not been complete without their little love and future ringbearer, Ollie. Here are just a few of my favorites. To say I am excited to capture this awesome couple's wedding day is an understatement. September 19th cannot come soon enough.
